Hi Molly, Just wanted to share another fun memory and see if I can upload a video or two. A couple weeks ago we had our first “big” rain storm that you were old enough to really notice. You and I had some fun, and your mom was there to join in and take some pictures.
You’re super curious these days, and you do this thing when I pick you up where you point at things and I take you in for a closer look. It’s like we’re exploring together, except I’ve seen magnets before and I know they don’t belong in your mouth.
I took you to the front porch and you stuck your hand out in the water. You seemed to enjoy it, but it wasn’t enough. I knew you were going to drag me out there. I really wasn’t sure if you were going to laugh or cry, but it seemed like we should find out.
I tried to warn you in case you really hated it, and off we went. We made a few trips like this, and since you seemed to be having a good time I thought we’d just walk around the yard and get soaking wet together.
After a while you found the gutter. You’d walk in, sort of stomp splash around, walk out, remember the gutter was there, make a quick 180 back into the gutter, rinse and repeat. It was so cute, and honestly I don’t know which one of us was having more fun.

Here’s a picture of the aftermath.

It was hard to get a good phot with the rain, but I think you have a bit of a smile on your face here. Proof that even though I was having enough fun for the both of us, I think you had a good time too.
