Hey Cakes, Well tax season is finally over so I have some time and energy for most posts. I have to work a lot during tax season, but I made sure this year that you and I had at least between 6-7pm to hangout. If I’ve gained any perspective throughout this last year it would have to be putting time with you and your mom first, and then finding time for the rest. I had to work a little later after you went to bed, but that was totally worth it. Anyway, here are some pictures and videos since the last time I made a post.
The video doesn’t fully show it, but you found it so funny to fake like you were going to give me a kiss and then at the last minute open your mouth and scream in my face. This is kind of what came after that, still some pretty good baby laughs though.
You like to stomp and spin around in circles as a group. I’m just here to be your hype man, and to make sure you don’t crash into stuff.

We found some time to go to legoland late on a Saturday. You wouldn’t let me put you down in this room since it was dark and I guess kind of scary, but you were a big fan of the monkey (which you refer to as “ooh-ahh”). This was actually a pretty fun trip, you liked all the lego displays and then upstairs there’s a big play area where you had your mom chasing you around for about an hour.

Love your smile, yet another game that you found hilarious in the moment but probably would think it was lame if I tried it again. You kept shoving a plastic cookie in my mouth and wanted me to try to get you with it.

When I get home from work and the weather is nice, which should be often soon but was rare in the last month, I’ll throw you in a blanket and take you for a “wee ride” aka a walk in your stroller. Right now your favorite thing on walks with me is to point out cars and say what color you think they are or get super excited when you see any flowers or dogs. You also call every guy we pass by daddy, which is weird.
